The beginning
Taplast was a family company founded in 1974 by Evans Santagiuliana and then managed by the second generation. Bringing together design, ergonomics, precision and sustainability has allowed Taplast, from 1995 to today, to win more than 12 international awards in packaging and be considered at the top of innovation in plastic dispensing systems.
Taplast’s reputation for innovation and environmental attention is well-know and the number of unique patented products successfully brought to the market is impressive by anyone’s standards. In order to grow we’re always seeking out new niches and needs that, to win the market challenges, require a unique product and service.
The internationalization
To accelerate the growth through the internationalization, Taplast has welcomed in 2008 a minority participation in its capital by NEM Imprese, a fund of private equity belonging to the Banca Popolare Vicenza, for an ambitious development project involving operations in USA, Mexico, Poland and Slovakia. This also led to the creation of a managerial organization reporting Kpi’s to a board group. Completed that in 2019.

20’s
The art of pumps started 500 years ago with Leonardo da Vinci: the first design for the water pump was found in the “Codex Atlanticus” on a print that was created between 1478-1518. The pump was able to bring water out of a well, or uphill, improving many aspects of early water pumps like the Archimedian screw
After 500 years most of know-how is still in Italy with Companies like Coster, Guala Dispenser, Aptar-Emsar, Silgan- Sprayplast and innovation still lies in Rieke-Taplast with our latest designs for sustainability and e-commerce like AllPlasticMono, iPump or iPouch.
